White Elephant Gift

Hey folks! I needed a last minute  gift for a holiday party. Of course I realized even later than that the gift needed to be handmade. Luckily I keep a couple of shadow boxes in my stash so I was able to put this together fairly quickly. Stampin' Up! supplies used: Fun Flowers die, Very Vanilla, Whisper White and Basic Black cs, Two-step bird punch, clear and onyx adhesive rhinestones, Timeless Portrait DSP, Filigree brads, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Labels Collection and Apothecary Accents framelit dies, Essentials paper piercing pack, En Francais background, From My Heart and Sense of Time stamps sets, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black ink. Non SU items: 8.5 x 11 shadow box. Let me know what you think...thanks for looking!

Celebrating 50 Years!!

A friend of mine asked me to create a gift for his parents who were celebrating their 50th anniversary. I came up with this shadow box.  I took their wedding day photo; resized and printed in B&W, a current photo, added a few poems and miscellaneous gold themed embellishments and this is what I came up with. The couple LOVED it!! It was an honor to be able to share in this milestone occasion! Unfortunately the pictures are not great thanks in large part to the glare but I think you will get the gist.

Random Stampings

I have a stamp/swap group that meets once a month.  These ladies
are very talented! It's like a "think tank" of creativity! Each month we come up with a theme and we each bring the supplies for everyone else to our card. This month's theme was birthday's.  Here's was mine for this month. Not really think tank material but I got to get a new stamp set "wet". What do you think?
